Pradeep Hirani, managing director, Kimaya Fashion Pvt. Ltd. is an MBA in finance from Narsee Monjee, Mumbai. A core entrepreneur, he entered the business of fashion at age of 16. After three retailing ventures in short succession he started GIMMICKS in 1996 at Juhu, Mumbai- an exclusive women’s wear store housing fresh and upcoming designers which was a runaway success. Then again after two years, he set up another store named IXTAPA, which retailed party wear. Pradeep Hirani identified designer couture as a high-potential area and took the plunge into this field and founded Kimaya in 2002.
